WHIFF's self-titled cassette for Suspicious Stimulus is a record of an era in which it was possible for the trio to luxuriate in each other's company and generate a record of a fleeting moment, of a relaxed approach to a wide variety of toys and tools, of long languorous warmish nights underground composting their individual identities into a dense bed of mellow approach. Here is a document of their trio, true to the project's titling: an instant of concentration, an echo of overlapping waves, an expulsion, a wafting of gently entangled characters. Round a corner, feel it throb, catch a whiff.
